Hola Familia!!
How are ya?? How is your Monday going?? I hope really awesome! Glad to hear the weather is well there in the States because the rain came back this past week but not as bad as 2 weeks ago where there was rain like everyday. So yeah, still in winter which is no fun but its all good. And for the news of leaving, I AM STILL IN MY FIRST SECTOR FOR ANOTHER 6 MONTHS HOLY COW!! Ha-ha!! My companion got called yesterday in the afternoon by President Lovell and he’s headed to Chiloé to become a Zone Leader down there. So I will find out who is coming to become my companion tomorrow and will receive him on Wednesday. So yeah, I will be in my first sector for 6 months, wow what a surprise that was yesterday for me and my companion ha-ha!! We both thought I was out for sure to head to some other part of the mission but no I shall stay here for another month and a half and complete 8 months in the mission yeah!! Were working hard in our sector finding a ton of new people, it is just awesome because now when my new companion comes in we’ll have a lot of people to teach and won’t have to go to many contact doors that are just questionable because I know almost every person I contact here and I’ve knocked just about every door in my sector and talked to every person in every door ha-ha!! But I am all-good about the change maybe I will get a Latin this time which would be sweet, so yeah! Not much new here just preparing people for baptism and others to start the progress to come unto Christ and his greatness and glory he has for us. I love you mom and miss you tons but I am here doing the Lords work and I know that he is blessing you all with that I do here in the mission for him to bring those unto him to live as a family eternal.

Elder Blotter - July 19
Hola Familia!
How are you?? How is your week going of more and more summer?? My past week was actually really really good...until Sunday ha ha!! We taught a ton this past week, it was way awesome!! This past Sunday though we didn´t have any of our investigators come to church which wasn´t the greatest but we're gonna work towards having all of them next week! We actually had a very special stake conference this past Sunday with a member of the Seventy of Chile come and speak to our Stake. It was so powerful he is an amazing member of the Seventy. Me and my companion think he´ll end up in the First Presidency one day, ha ha!We had intercambios with the zone leaders for the last time until the end of the cambio which is in a week, holy cow!! Time is just flying for me here it is insane. At the end of next cambio I'll have 8 months in the mission, woah!! Don´t get trunky now mom ha ha!! Don´t worry about the McDonald's card because I doubt they take em here because of the money difference. Also I´m not totally positive but I´m pretty sure I out of here next transfer so I won´t be anywhere near a McDonald's for a long time ha ha! My cold still hasn´t broken its hard grip on me. I´m still taking meds and my spray. It' rains here like every freaking day!! Except this past week was COMPLETELY SUNNY!! It was sooo awesome! It wasn´t like completely warm but still it was great to get a break from the rain for a week and then it was really really freezing cold in the nights like woah! But today its raining again...ha ha!! You can send me whatever you want mom . I am very content here with what I have, I haven´t really bought much else here right now because I´m just so new in the mission. I don´t know if I will ever go to Puntae Arenas or Coyhaique which both have weight restrictions because you fly in a plane to get to those places so yea. I´m glad to hear your have a really awesome summer and that everyone is doing just awesome!! That's way funny that you ran into Dan the other day I miss those guys too ha ha! But I´m sending some pictures of last weeks p day where we went to a Mexican restaurant and I got there burritos which aren´t like they are back home but still way good. I ate two full hot chili peppers there. Everyone thought I was crazy but I ate them with a smile on my face ha ha!! You know how I like hot and spicy food. And then I didn´t feel like bowling so I played pool with two other elders that didn´t want to bowl either and you know how I can´t resist pool cause it is my favorite game and then lastly a photo of Futrono my last cambio there. But yeah I love you and miss you tons!!!

Elder Blotter - July 12th
Hello family!
I am glad to hear you had a great experience and vacation in Idaho/Utah It sounds like it was some crazy fun. That’s really funny that you’ve just been running into so many people from Zack's parents to aunt Tami that’s way awesome. I hope Sayward is doing a lot better I will keep her in my prayers that she will feel better soon that is horrible that that happened over her honeymoon. But I am thankful that all of you are all right. Glad to hear Alexander is happy about his choice to join the Naval Academy. Maybe after his time there he’ll think about a mission. It truly is a huge blessing in my life. I can already feel the blessings of my choice to serve the lord for 2 years and help those in Chile come unto Christ and return to his presence. The photos of last week were for the reason that we're all reading the Book of Mormon. I am in Mosiah 15 in English and in Mosiah 2 in Spanish. I hope to finish both to reach the goal as a mission that would be way fun. The training you speak of I have yet to see in the mission. Maybe it will come around to my mission in another transfer or two, I don’t know but I’ll tell you when I receive it. That’s really weird to hear that the Elders were pulled out of our ward. But I am glad to hear they are back. My week this past week has been a jammed full one!! We have found so many new investigators to teach it is so awesome!! Some crazy experiences from an intercambio with Elder Day when my companion went to Futrono for a day. I was here in my sector with Elder Day and we found a family of 12!! Holy cow, it was awesome but we didn’t teach the whole family. We taught the mom and one of her daughters. She felt like their family wasn’t united at all and there was no love in the home. We shared some scriptures in the Bible and the Book of Mormon about the Holy Ghost and she was like yeah, that’s what I need in my life!! We tried to challenge them to baptism but they didn’t really catch the vision because they said they had already been baptized in the Elevangelico church but we can change that with the correct authority!! It was kind of a DUH moment where my companion and me thought in our minds like, duh yeah you need this in your life ha-ha! But it was way sweet. Another experience we had was we found a family of 4. The kids don’t believe in God and the dad said he was Catholic but by the end of the lesson he kind of came out and said he doesn’t really know if he believes in God anymore but we challenged them all to pray to God to see if he really exists as we read in James 1:5 pedila a Díos. Ask God with a sincere heart and all faith and he will answer your prayer. We have a return appointment with them tomorrow so I am really praying for them because I can just see that they are a great family. My companion and I are actually running into a lot of College students here in Valdivia because it has one of the largest and best universities in Chile so we run into a ton of them and teach quite a bunch of them also. Dad, didn’t you run into a lot of College Students in Italy?? I thought you told me but I didn’t really remember. If you have any advice on dealing with people that don’t really believe in God or a scripture to help I would love to hear it. By the end of the week we had 1 person in the church with a baptismal date and one with out it was so great to see our investigators progressing. I was so happy this week was just awesome!! Today we're going bowling for p-day so that should be fun! Our Zone now consists of more Latins than Americans. There's 14 missionaries in total with two sister missionaries and the rest elders. There are only 5 that are American including me so you can imagine the big difference but it’s awesome. The Latins in my zone are so funny. I hope I get to serve with some of them later in my mission. On a last note I heard the World Cup is over and Spain beat the Netherlands 1 to 0 so congrats to Spain!! I love you and miss you tons!!

Hey family!!
My week has just been full of rain rain rain and more rain, ha ha!! My companion got sick in the beginning of the week and then he got me sick so right now I have a cold awesome,ha ha!! But we are still working hard teaching a ton of people and challenging to baptism! The work is strong but the rain is stronger. Its hard sometimes cause its what people tell us of why they didn´t come to church or what not so its upsetting to hear that people won´t go to church here if its raining but were working hard on getting people there. Happy late 4th of July to y'all!! Me and my comp celebrated it I guess by making pancakes last night and listening to an amazing talk by John Bytheway real real inspiring. Last p day in the pictures I am sending are of an activity we did as a zone with a big wooden book of Mormon we made with us studying the scriptures and then the other as like people from the book of Mormon as nephites and what not it was way way fun!! The work is moving and I am loving it here in the mission!! Thank you for all the support back home I love you all and miss you all very much!!!
