Hola Familia!!
Glad to hear all is well at home and dad had a great birthday. Sorry to hear that summer for y'all is winding up that is really crazy because I just felt like y'all were in the middle of summer still that is just crazy to hear. Time is just flying by here and yes I am going to try to stay in contact with my friend Elder Campozano because he was a great Elder and inspiration to me and really made me a better missionary by his examples. I really miss that guy but I know he finished well. My new companion is Elder Osborn as I think I told you but no he is not the new district leader another Elder from our Zone is now our district leader so there was a change in which sectors were with which district leaders. My new companion is a really great missionary out of Rahue. He liked hiking the mountains before the mission and showed me some photos of the Colorado Rockies and everything so I found something else I want to do after mission dad ha-ha! His dad is a lot like you; he is really into Scouting and is on the Scouting Council in Colorado.
My sector here is still not doing the best but that is not stopping my companion and me. We had better success this week than the past but still not what we can get in the end so thank you mom for keeping us in your prayers. We are going to keep working hard and finding those people that are ready to hear the gospel and that want to come unto Christ. We actually found an eternal investigator which was really funny cause they talked to us all about all the missionaries that came to there house and taught them and just ended up being there friends always passing by and it was just sad to hear it all cause all of these missionaries we just disobedient missionaries that wasted time at these peoples house and never got them baptized so were going to try with them one more time and if they don’t progress we have to drop them so yeah hard to hear that about past missionaries that were here in my sector.
I gave a talk yesterday I forgot to write that in the letter to dad but I gave a talk on Hope and that we should give hope to others that are not of our faith and pray to God sincerely about particular people in our lives that we can share the gospel with that we would like to have the missionaries come. My companion also gave a really awesome talk on the scriptures on how we can apply them more to our lives and how we should come to church more wanting to be edified instead of just going to church and sitting there. So after we both gave our talks all the members thanked us and really enjoyed our talks. The chapel wasn’t as full as usual which wasn’t the best but we will pray for those who were not there and then also for our investigators to be able to come and hear and feel the spirit.
Glad to hear all is well with the girls and nice picture of the piano that we have now you just have to shine it up and give the other piano to one of the other girls!! Ha-ha cause my new companion is a musical person like me and he has a keyboard and a simplified hymn book so I play sometimes in the mornings when I get a little time and we talk about it sometimes so thanks to him now I regret quitting piano mom there I said it ha-ha so I want to reteach myself more when I get home =) I love you and miss you tons!!!

P.S. Here are some pictures of me and my comp on the roof of our house when we cleaned our cumbustion which is our fireplace that was really dirty. and then pictures of me on our mamitas roof cleaning hers for service but what you didn’t see is I smashed my nose and made it bleed so now I have a bruise on my nose because I was trying to get a part of the cumbustion to clean off and yeah smart me right?? ha ha but its getting better no worries!! =) Love you guys!!
